Statement from SF Board of Education President Gabriela López About the SFUSD Equity Audit and Action Committee Zoom Attack

The San Francisco Board of Education unanimously approved a plan for spending the remaining $100 million in funding from a $744 million general obligation bond approved by San Francisco voters in 2016 for modernization of San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) facilities.

The San Francisco Board of Education is in the process of developing a budget balancing plan to address an ongoing structural deficit as expenses continue to grow faster than revenues to support all of the district’s schools, services and programs.
