SFUSD is launching its enrollment season for the 2024-25 school year by hosting an enrollment fair and workshops for families who wish to enroll their child(ren) in PreKindergarten (PK), Transitional Kindergarten (TK), kindergarten, middle school, or high school for the coming school year.
The California Department of Education (CDE) today released the results of the 2022-23 California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) for English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics. In 2023 the SFUSD ELA and math proficiency rates continued to be higher than the state, which has been the case since 2016.
SFUSD is recognizing October as Digital Agency Month to empower SFUSD students, staff, and families to navigate and evaluate digital spaces, leveraging resources adeptly and responsibly in order to develop the skills and competencies of the SFUSD Graduate Profile.
The district is launching its Secondary Math Policy Focus Group to make recommendations on how to equitably implement Algebra 1 in the 8th grade and the implications for the district’s high school math course sequencing.
