Superintendent's 21st Century Awards

The 2025 Superintendent’s 21st Century Scholarship Awards will be granted to six graduating SFUSD seniors who exemplify a particular strength in one or more of the characteristics of the SFUSD Graduate Profile. Winners will each receive a $3,000 scholarship and be honored by Superintendent Dr. Maria Su at an event on May 7, 2025.

Your checklist for a complete application:

Step 1:  In less than 1,000 words, prepare your essay, describing how you relate to one or more of the characteristics in the Graduate Profile and how your SFUSD experience helped to shape your development in this area.

Step 2: Submit two letters of recommendation. If those who are writing letters of recommendation prefer to send them directly to SFUSD rather than have the student applying include them as attachments, please email letters to newsline@sfusd.edu, and the applicant should attach a file/s that says "sent directly to SFUSD".

Step 3: Fill out the online application form below and attach your essay and letters of recommendation.
