The project will modernize the main building at James Denman Middle School. The design process began in 2019 and the project was permitted by the Division of the State Architect (DSA) in 2022. Construction was delayed due to insufficient funds, but then SFUSD received State Bond fund reimbursements and added scope to the project. Construction will begin in summer 2025, with early mobilization at the site in spring 2025.
