West Portal Elementary School

West Portal Elementary is receiving a two-part project funded by both the 2016 and 2024 bonds. The first package removes dilapidated portable classrooms on the site and constructs two new buildings, as well as updates classrooms in the existing TK/Kindergarten classroom building. It also includes a warming kitchen expansion and some yard improvements. The second package will modernize the school's main building, including renovations of classrooms and hallways, replacing the boiler with an all-electric HVAC system, updating the auditorium and library, and improving the remainder of the schoolyard areas.
