SFUSD's Recent Bond Programs

Planning for a 2024 Bond
Our Bond Program helps SFUSD maintain safe and sustainable schools. SFUSD will pursue our next General Obligation bond to help fund modernization projects for SF public schools in 2024. Before putting the Bond on the ballot, we will complete a thorough capital condition assessment of buildings and sites; update the SFUSD capital plan; and solicit and incorporate feedback from the community.

Facilities Master Plan (FMP)
The FMP is the District’s 10-year work plan for its buildings and outlines key initiatives and emerging priorities for our schools.

What's Next?
- Initiate Bond Planning. Using FMP priorities and aligning with SFUSD's mission and values, develop a proposed program for the 2024 Bond measure.
- Ballot Measure Drafting. Draft language for 2024 Bond ordinance for BOE approval six months prior to bond measure ballot date.
Public Oversight
The Citizens Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) provides local oversight of the Proposition A Bond Program and meets quarterly at 135 Van Ness Avenue. The CBOC webpage hosts information about CBOC members, the CBOC charter, and all meeting agendas and minutes.
