About the Project Link to this section
This project involves the reimagining of the four existing outdoor yards at Jose Ortega Elementary School. They will be transformed to better support play, physical education, outdoor learning and a robust system of stormwater management in support of SFUSD's Schoolyard Comprehensive Plan.
Design began in May 2026.
