Daily Schedule
Sample schedules are included on the following pages. This schedule is flexible and subject
to change based on the needs and ages of the children enrolled. (It may vary slightly from site to site).
- All schedules are samples as schools' start and end times vary.
- Learning experiences also vary depending on schools and program partnerships with community-based organizations that offer enrichment opportunities to students.

8:45 | Arrival - Teachers conduct daily health checks, talk with families and help children transition to school |
8:45 - 9:00 | Breakfast - Teachers invite toddlers to transition to breakfast by washing their hands. |
9:00 - 10:30 | Bathroom/Free Choice Activities - Teachers will support children’s play and facilitate activities. |
10:30 - 12:00 | Outdoor Free Choice Activities - Teachers support children’s active play and facilitate messier and more physical activities. |
12:00 - 12:45 | Handwashing / Lunch - During lunch, we support children’s communication with each other and encourage children to feed themselves. Staff will help them too. |
12:45 - 3:00 | Bathroom / Rest Time - Classroom lights are dimmed and soft music is played. As children wake, their diapers are changed and quiet activities are offered. |
3:00 - 3:45 | Bathroom / Free Choice Activities |
