Toilet Training: Supporting Independence

We are committed to supporting all children, regardless of their stage in toilet training, in alignment with California Department of Education guidelines. Children who are not fully toilet trained will never be excluded from school, and we provide individualized care to meet their needs.

Toilet training is an important milestone that every child approaches at their own pace. We work with families to create a personalized plan that aligns with home routines and fosters independence, confidence, and emotional well-being. Teachers and families will regularly communicate to adjust the plan as needed, addressing accidents or challenges with patience and understanding.

For children with IEPs or specific needs, accommodations will be included to ensure their success. Together, we make toilet learning a positive and supportive experience.
