Authorized Pick-Up
For your child's safety, we can only release them to you, the parent/guardian, or an authorized person listed on the Emergency Card. Anyone picking up your child must be at least 18 years old and show ID when they arrive. If someone not on the Emergency Card is picking up your child, you must provide written permission on that day.
Parking Lot Safety
Please be extra careful when driving or walking to and from the school. Always hold your child's hand and use crosswalks when available, setting a good example for your child. When driving through the parking lot, please follow the 5 mph speed limit for everyone’s safety.
State laws require that young children always ride in a car seat. Children under 2 must ride in a rear-facing car seat unless they weigh 40 pounds or are at least 40 inches tall. Make sure the car seat is used correctly based on the manufacturer's guidelines. Children under 8 years old or shorter than 4'9" must also be in a car seat or booster seat in the back seat.
Never leave a child alone in the car, even for a short time. It’s unsafe and against the law.
Transportation Arrangement
The Early Education Department does not provide transportation to or from the preschool site.
