Assessment Process
Our program is designed to support every aspect of your child's growth and development. For children without IEPs, we conduct annual screenings using the Ages & Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) and evaluate their progress twice a year using the Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP) from the California Department of Education. We prioritize monitoring your child’s development, with our teachers continually observing and documenting their progress.
We share these assessments with families during parent-teacher conferences, held at least twice a year. Families are also welcome to schedule additional one-on-one meetings throughout the year to discuss their child’s progress in more detail. During conferences, the teacher will review your child’s development and provide suggestions for supporting their growth at home. This is also an opportunity for you to share any thoughts, concerns, or ideas about your child’s well-being. We look forward to partnering with you to help your child thrive!
