Our Support Services

SFUSD provides a wide range of specialist support to enhance your child’s health and learning. Our EED Support Services team includes family support specialists who facilitate meetings with parents and guardians, offering connections to valuable community resources. We have a dedicated team of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) staff who collaborate with families and staff to foster children’s social-emotional development and create strategies to address challenging behaviors in the classroom.

Additionally, our support team partners with community agencies to offer mental health consultations at our preschools and leads the Student Success Team process, which brings together families and staff to develop personalized plans to support each child's learning needs. If your child requires medical attention, the principal can assist with referrals to healthcare providers. Our staff also undergoes regular training in asthma, allergy management, first aid, and CPR to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students.
