4.9.2 Digital Learning Systems for Students

Digital Learning Systems for Students

SFUSD’s learning approach often calls for students to utilize digital learning systems as part of their learning process, both in school and while doing homework. Google Classroom and Seesaw are two systems that SFUSD students may engage with.

Through Google Classroom teachers can share resources, offer instructional activities, assess students, and provide them with helpful feedback. This learning platform is part of the Google Workspace for Education and can be utilized in conjunction with other digital tools across grade levels. For more information about using Google Classroom please visit: bit.ly/SFUSDgoogleclassroom. (This URL, also known as an internet address, is case sensitive. Classes in SFUSD may also use Seesaw as a platform for assignments, student creations, and assessing learning. Seesaw also has robust family communication tools that can auto-translate into multiple languages. In addition, it can enable families to view and comment on their student’s work right from their smartphones. The following resources will support families in getting started with Seesaw bit.ly/SFUSDseesaw.
