Virtual August Paraeducator Institute 2025

We are thrilled to put on the 2025 Virtual August Paraeducator Institute to launch the upcoming school year. The virtual conference will take place on Thursday, August 14th and Friday, August 15th. Paraeducator can use their 18 Paid PD or 7 PD hours to pay for their participation in the conference.  More information will be shared in the upcoming few weeks to paraeducators directly.

Veteran SDC teachers K-5 worked with the Professional Learning & Leadership Team to build an SDC-specific Instructional Guidance Website over spring and summer. Elementary SDC teachers can find all needed instructional resources here! 

We are delighted to share our updated SFUSD Special Education Family Handbook! This document contains information to support families in navigating the IEP process, guidance around IEP meetings and timelines, community resources, and much more. This is a great resource for staff looking to support families!
