Getting Started with Seesaw

Many classes in SFUSD, especially elementary schools,  are using Seesaw as a platform for assignments and student creations. The following resources will support families in getting started with Seesaw.

Families can follow these steps to get started:

  1. Access the Seesaw website on a computer or download the Seesaw Class app to use on a tablet or phone. (Note: The Seesaw "Parent and Family" app is just for parents to view student work and will not work for at home learning assignments for students.)
  2. Students will then select "I'm a Student" and log in with the Seesaw code shared by their teacher. The Seesaw code will either be a text code or a QR code.
  3. After signing in, students can go to the "Activities" tab and click on "+Add Response" to respond to activities posted by their teacher.
